Hotel was in an amazing location 2 mins walk from Blue mosque, Aya Sofia and Tobakia palace, lots of restuarants and bars one street over and tram was 3 min walk. There were two guys working front desk and they were great, took the time to show us where to go and how not to get scammed. Hotel rooms were recently renovated, and nice and clean, don't expect 5* but very nice. Very good price for what you get, I would recommend it.
excelent location only minutes away from all the city attractions, stunning terrace views, only 3 minutes to hagia sofia and sultan ahmet mosques and 3 minutes to the tramway whic is great.
first room we stayed were smell of drainage comming from the wash sink which we had to change the room to a more expensive room still had a bit of a smell which needs to be fixed, first room was small and cramp also needs modernising of the room decoration, light colour of wall perhaps may make it more fressher. i recommend but only to the suit roomswhich was about 15- 20 euros more a night.
We stayed at the Suite, where was large and comfortable. Large bathroom and bathtub with jaccuzi. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. Also, guest were very friendly, which made our stay memorable. We had a wonderful breakfast at the terrace where had a beautiful view of Aya sofia and Blue mosque. Location was excellent! Highly recommended hotel.
We stayed at Muhlis Bey hotel for three nights. We stayed at the Suite room on first 2 nights, where was large and comfortable. There were a big bathtub with jacuzzi at the bathroom, too. The hotel staffs were very helpful and friendly. Also, guests were very friendly. We had a wonderful breakfast(big portion, too!) at the terrace, where had a beautiful view of Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. We stayed at the double room on the third night, where was cozy and charming. Perfect location and Highly recommended hotel!
The staff were very friendly and interested in me as a person. The hotel is absolutely centrally situated, close to cafes, major sites and shopping places. The room was small but clean and quiet.
The breakfast was too late for me. I wanted to get up, eat and go, but breakfast wasn't until 8 o'clock. The told me I could get something after going out for an hour or so, but by then it was all cleaned up.
Excellent location in the historical center for acceptable price.
great location, friendly stuff, breakfasts on the roof terrace - there is a very pleasant view on bosforus, sofia and blue mosque
thin walls , so you can hear the voices of your neighbors. Very small room.
Excellent price/quality/location "family type" hotel where you feel like home! Comfortable and clean rooms with jacuzi (103), beautiful view from the top of the roof terrace all over the city (Sofia and Blue Mosque) and the sea where you can have a cup of tea and some snack at any time. Very helpful managers! A few steps to the old city centre and the tram station. I would highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends.
Great location. Fartia and Mitch were very helpful and spoke good English. Nice breakfasts served on roof top, with fabulous views.
Rooms not large, but value for money. Hopefully the shower head will be fixed next time we visit.
Location is very central right opposite the Four Seasons in the heart of Sultanamet. Staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good and the man handling it was very polite and solicitous. While the bed linens were fine the room was not very clean. The bathroomn seemed to have been relatively recently renovated.
The room was so small and cramped that it was difficult to walk around the bed. We could not unpack (very little closet space) or store our suitcases (there was no place to put them). There was no elevator. Our room was on the third floor so the luggage had to be hauled up the very narrow and steep staircase. For these reasons this hotel would not be suitable for someone with a handicap, pulmonary or cardio problems. There was a very unpleasant sewer-like odour emanating from the bathroom, at times it was overpowering. The air conditioning fan worked but the system was ineffective. We would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.
Perfect location with a wonderful view from the roof terrace. breakfast very good very friendly staff (who also made a yummy omelette for us every morning!) I have already recommended it for friends on their way to Turkey.
Convenience to sights. One of the staff was extremely helpful with an excellent standard of English.
Tiny cramped room.
It was a wonderful Bed and Breakfast- especially for the price. Great value and the staff - especially Volkan were wonderful and very helpful with his advice on which places to visit, eat, etc. The room was big and comfortable also. The only thing I wish they would have more variety with the breakfast buffet.
The staff is very helpful and a wonderful terrace with a kitchen has a wonderful view at the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia and Bosphorus- you can enjoy it even at night, by making a cup of tea or eating a water melon. Walking distance from all major attractions and a nice room. Nice bathroom with a bubble bath.
The walls are so thin that you hear your neighbours talking and walking, like if your door is open. Though the street is very authentic, it is nevertheless very busy and noisy. Breakfasts might be better.
Location is very good for sightseeing. Views are beautiful on the rooftop terrace. Staff is friendly, helpful and fun. Would come back another time.
